What’s the Melbourne Podcast Festival?
It’s 25+ podcasts recording a live episode of their show in front of an audience of listeners. All shows happen over one weekend starting Friday 30 July through to Sunday 1 August.
Podcasts participating are from all genres – comedy, science, society & culture, sport and more.
Shows are ticketed individually. We did this because tastes in podcasts can be specific as they are wide ranging.
So, it’s all live?
Yes. It’s a classic in-person event so you can experience the shows live rather than through a computer screen.
That goes for the podcasts too! They’ll all be on location, on the stage at the front of the theatre.
It’s up to the podcasts whether they post the episode after the show so get along to avoid missing out.
